According to the Africa Strategy of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany, education, research, and innovation are key to turning Africa’s myriad challenges into impactful opportunities.
To achieve this, scholars, particularly researchers in the industry and academia, have a critical role.
CAPIG seeks to be the foremost networking and mutual support platform for African Scholars especially current and prospective PhDs and PhD graduates in academia, industry and business sector.
Through the consistent and incremental implementation of our ideas, we plan to enhance individual, career, academic and professional excellence that would serve as an impetus for African development.
The first edition of CAPiG was successfully organised in 2021.
Vision
CAPiG aims to harness the collective and individual strengths and efforts of African Scholars in Germany into a central powerhouse that will positively impact both Germany and Africa.

Developing professional and social contacts through interactions in both formal and informal settings.

Promoting information & knowledge sharing with the overall aim of enhancing the capacity of our network to confront challenges and proffer solutions to practical problems.

Encouraging the exportation of knowledge and technology for the socio-economic development of Africa.
